A device proves who it is
Every sender signs a fresh challenge with its own key. Trust is pinned to that key, not a name someone on the café Wi-Fi could copy.

The receiver verifies each file against the sender’s hash before it is saved. A damaged transfer never turns into a file that looks finished.

Either side can stop mid-flight. What already arrived is kept, so sending again resumes instead of starting over.
infoBeam checks who is sending but does not encrypt the bytes on the wire yet, so on a shared network someone capturing packets could read a transfer. Encryption is the next release. More in the FAQ
